【Chateau Marquis de Terme 2016】
Robert Parker rating:92/100
Château Marquis de Terme has a long history dating back to the 18th century. In 1762, the estate was given as a dowry by Ledoux d’Emplet to François de Peguilhan, Marquis de Terme. In the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, it was ranked as a fourth growth.
In 1935, the estate was acquired by Pierre Sénéclauze and continued to be run by his sons. Later, in 2009, Ludovic David joined the board, bringing a new era and innovations to the estate.
The 2016 Chateau Lespault-Martillac has a voluptuous bouquet of black cherries, blueberries, and loganberries, with well-integrated oak and a touch of warmth. The medium-bodied palate has smooth tannins, presenting an elegant Pessac-Léognan wine crafted by Olivier Bernard, with a finish of baked cherry and melted tar.
Grape Varieties: 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot.
According to Hong Kong law, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
