Château Sansonnet is located at the highest point of the unique clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion.The vineyard covers 7 hectares, making it a unique estate adjacent to classified grand cru vineyards.The proportion of grape varieties planted is 97% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc.

The Chateau Sansonnet 2013 vintage wine presents a deep purple-red color, with aromas of ripe black fruits.Due to the extremely low yield in 2013, the taste is quite rich, with a lot of ripe fruit flavors, a long finish, and a salty note.
