[Chateau Siran 2013 5支套裝]
Chateau Siran is located in the Margaux region and has been producing red wine since the 17th century. It is one of the few Bordeaux estates that has managed to avoid being sold or acquired. To this day, it is still managed by the Miailhe family, who once owned Pichon Lalande, Palmer, and Dauzac, which speaks to the quality of its wine production. The biggest feature of Chateau Siran is that, like Chateau Croix Mouton, it designs a new label every year, and this tradition continued until 2005.Since the Miailhe family took over Chateau Siran only in 1859, missing the crucial 1855 classification, it has been a Margaux estate long forgotten by Bordeaux. Its style inherits the smoothness and delicacy of Margaux, while also possessing the power, body, and structure of Cab Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. It combines flavors of shrubs, vanilla, licorice, cocoa, and black fruits, making it an exceptionally balanced Margaux wine among its peers.
"Chateau Siran 2013 has a very delicate aroma, with notes of blackberry, wine, and a light triple fragrance." Compared to previous Siran wines, it is much more understated. Its mouthfeel is medium, with delicate tannins and sharp acidity. The style is linear, with a slightly conservative finish, but it showcases freshness from start to finish. Edouard Miailhe, the owner of Siran, has indeed raised the stakes; the 2014 vintage is a classic Bordeaux red wine that should be enjoyable from the start, but the depth of Chateau Siran 2013 suggests it has excellent aging potential. Can be opened and enjoyed from 2020 to 2045."
