Château Prieuré-Lichine is an estate in the Margaux region of Bordeaux, classified as a fourth growth in the official Bordeaux classification of 1855.It is considered one of the most consistent producers in Margaux, renowned for its elegance and softness, partly due to the relatively high proportion of Merlot in the blend.Its vineyard was the property of a monastery before the French Revolution.At that time, the red wine produced by Chateau Prieure-Lichine was called La Prieure, which means "monastery" in French.
"Chateau Prieure Lichine 2019 has a wonderful aroma of dried orange, blackcurrant, and crushed stone that permeates the entire body of the wine, with beautiful, steady, and delicate tannins." The finish has many subtle and complex characteristics. They did a great job here.
