Le Petit Mouton (Second wine of First Growth Mouton Rothschild) is crafted from grapes grown in the exceptional terroir of the estate. Apart from using grapes from younger vines, the processes for harvesting, winemaking, and bottling are almost identical to those of the grand vin. In label design, the château has also thoughtfully selected the works of artist Jean Carlu: the bright colors of the grapes combine the vintage feel with a modern touch.

In 2021, the aroma of Le Petit Mouton wafts from the glass, releasing intense black berries, cherries, and black currant scents mixed with hints of licorice, mint, and dark chocolate. The wine has a medium to full body, rich and layered, dense and smooth, with sweet tannins and a long, broad finish.

Grape Varieties:

77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19.5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 0.5% Petit Verdot
