Jean Forillard holds the title of "Beaujolais Natural Wine Master" because he learned winemaking under the guidance of Jules Chauve, the "Father of French Natural Wine," and was one of the first four people to get involved in the natural wine movement. In 1980, Forillard inherited the winery from his father and ran it together with his wife Agnes. Their success inspired other winemakers in the region, and the wines became stronger, more complex, and delicious.
"Vibrant wild strawberries and raspberries, paired with white pepper, tequila, and dried herbs."The taste is fresh, with a medium body, and the silky, refined tannins are evenly distributed in the mouth. The finish is juicy and bright, with a lovely herbal charm."s
