The history of Tenuta Luce began in the early 20th century when Vittorio Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi chose Montalcino, renowned for its grape cultivation, and decided to combine their experiences to embark on a visionary project: to craft a wine that transcends borders while respecting tradition.From the very beginning, they received support from their respective sons, Lamberto and Tim, both of whom were young winemakers.The experience gained since the 1970s from planting Merlot vineyards on these plots, as well as the understanding of their unique expressiveness, has proven to be indispensable. Luce, the starting point of it all, is considered the harmonious intersection between the elegance and structure of the local indigenous variety Sangiovese and the roundness of Merlot.

"Luce Della Vite 2017 is a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot, representing the estate's second wine." This is a charming bouquet of wild berries and jam, highlighted by tobacco and subtle spices, with a touch of refined toasting. Delicate, silky tannins bring a wonderful roundness and a long-lasting finish.
