[Chateau La Tour Carnet Blanc 2018]
Robert Parker rating: 92/100
Chateau La Tour Carnet was ranked as a fourth growth estate in the 1855 Médoc classification. After the estate was acquired by Bernard Magrez in 2000, its quality saw a significant improvement, with Parker calling it the most cost-effective among all classified estates.Chateau La Tour Carnet has an enormous 190-hectare vineyard, of which only 2.46 hectares are used for producing white wine, resulting in very low yields, making it extremely precious.
The 2018 la Tour Carnet Blanc has aromas of fruitiness, richness, and minerality. It exudes the aroma of fresh lemons, citrus peel, and a hint of green apple skin, combined with the flavors of fresh/crisp peaches and minerals. The taste is rich in fruit flavors, well-balanced, clear on the palate, juicy, with a mineral/acidity framework, round, and beautifully fresh!
Grape variety:
60% Semillon y 40% Sauvignon Blanc
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
