[Chateau Latour Martillac 2014 Magnum Size (1500ml)]Robert Parker rating: 91/100
Chateau Latour Martillac, located in the Graves region of Bordeaux, France, is one of only six Grand Cru Classe de Graves estates in the region that produce both red and white wines. Its name is derived from an ancient tower located within the estate's courtyard.According to the different soil types, the vineyard of the winery is divided into two parts. The vineyards located on the high ground are rich in pebbles, with poor soil quality and excellent drainage; while the vineyards near the Garonne River are primarily composed of clay and limestone, with a surface covered in gravel, which is very beneficial for grape cultivation.
"It has an enchanting aroma, with rich flavors of blackberry, gravel, and balsamic vinegar, very clear; the body is medium, with soft, mature tannins, a gentle entry, and flavors of crushed strawberries, red cherries, and white pepper, with a satisfying finish."Compared to other wines, it is quite youthful, but well-made. Can it strive for more? Very likely."
Grape variety:
66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
