When it comes to famous Bordeaux wines, people often say, "On the left bank, there's Lafite; on the right bank, there's Pavie."Chateau Pavie is located in the Saint Emilion region on the right bank of Bordeaux, France, and has a very long history.The vineyard's soil consists of the most common limestone and brown clay found on the right bank. The average vine age is 40 years, and the grapes are all hand-picked before being placed into large stainless steel barrels for fermentation.

Since 2005, the second wine of Chateau Pavie has been renamed "Aromes de Pavie."Mainly from younger vines, but vinified as rigorously as the grand vin, it is soft, balanced and elegant, with a cigar box, blackcurrant and black cherry perfume, making it a wine worth trying if you want a glimpse of Chateau Pavie's right bank entry-level red wine.Generally speaking, traditional French wines are soft, balanced, and elegant, while New World wines are full of personality, power, and wildness. However, the wines from this winery are an exception.Although Pavie wine originates from France, it carries the inherent elegance and balance of French wines, while simultaneously possessing the personality and power of New World wines.
