The vineyards of Château Lanessan have belonged to the Bouteiller family since the 18th century. There have already been eight generations of succession. Its wines are the result of particularly precise and meticulous winemaking techniques and are renowned for their elegance.Today, Château Lanessan has become one of the best estates in Haut-Médoc.Its wine quality is superior and it is well-known in the Bordeaux region. However, during the establishment of the 1855 classification system, the estate owner Louis Delbos missed the opportunity because he did not send in a sample for consideration. The famous wine critic Robert Parker once said, "This is an outstanding wine from the Haut Medoc region."If this wine had participated in the 1855 classification, it should have been ranked as a "Fifth Growth."Later, in 1878, André Delbos officially established Chateau Lanessan, which is comparable to the renowned second-growth estate Gruaud-Larose, also located in the Haut-Medoc region.
Chateau Lanessan 2021 has a core of bramble, tobacco leaf, peppery spice, red currant, and crunchy red plum. The body is medium, bright, chewy, and peppery, which is quite a classic style.
Grape varieties: 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot.
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
