"Chateau Leoville Las Cases 2001 presents a medium to deep garnet color with a slight brick hue. From the glass, it exudes vibrant aromas of cherry, blackberry jam, and blackcurrant, accompanied by scents of anise, floral notes, oolong tea, and tobacco leaves, with a hint of smokiness. The medium-bodied wine has an elegant and refined palate bursting with exotic spices, floral notes, and dried berries, framed by soft tannins and seamless freshness. The long finish exhibits impeccable balance and finesse."
