【G Acte Guinaudeau 4 Bottle Set (2011 & 2014 vintages, 2 bottles each)】
Guinaudeau Vignerons Pomerol Chateau Lafleur owners Sylvie and Jacques Guinaudeau launched a new project called G Guinaudeau wines in 2009.
The Bordeaux vineyard, planted with 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, is located in the Fronsac region, but these wines are classified as Bordeaux Supérieur.
The winemaking process uses traditional cement vats for fermentation, followed by aging in 33% new French oak barrels for 15 months. An average of 1,000 cases of wine are produced each year.
[G Acte 3 Guinaudeau Vignerons 2011]
Medium ruby-pomegranate color. The rich, classic Cabernet Franc aroma (making up nearly 50% of the blend) is accompanied by scents of graphite, dried herbs, and hedgerow fruits. The taste is tight and precise, centered around more delicious and palatable fruit, framed by a crisp yet balanced tannin structure. The mid-palate of the Merlot wine is somewhat full-bodied, but everything is just right. This cool, medium-bodied, fresh wine is now at its peak, with the bottle-aged fruitiness and mature, rustic tones achieving perfect balance.
Grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc
[G Acte 6 Guinaudeau Vignerons 2014]
