Caiarossa is a phenomenal, biodynamically farmed Super Tuscan estate owned by the Albada Jelgersma family (Château Giscours). The 2017 vintage, a warm and dry year, produced a deeply concentrated and incredibly powerful wine. It is a masterful, highly complex blend of seven grape varieties. It pours a deep, opaque ruby and bursts with extravagant aromatics of black cherry jam, blackberry, Mediterranean herbs, balsamic, and dark chocolate. Full-bodied, lush, and unctuous on the palate, it features a massive core of velvety tannins and a striking, mineral-driven finish. A thrilling, hedonistic masterpiece.
