The 2006 vintage is classically styled and firmly structured, and it has now beautifully entered its peak drinking window. It reveals an engaging, mature bouquet of ripe cassis, dark plum, sweet vanilla oak, coffee, and subtle cigar box undertones. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is perfectly resolved and harmonious, with soft, velvety tannins and a savory, elegant finish. A superb, versatile claret.
