Chateau Talbot is undoubtedly one of the most famous wineries in Médoc.Several mysterious factors combined to create the winery's current fame: one of the legends is that the original owner of the winery was General Talbot from Britain.As is well known, Chateau Talbot is a champion of aging potential.However, this advantage does not prevent it from being beautiful, round, and easy to drink when young, with soft and delicate tannins.The wines of Chateau Talbot have an outgoing character and never close themselves off.This is a very pure and characterful wine, with complex aromas of Havana cigars and licorice, a classic tradition.

Impressive, with juicy fruit flavors and some subtle notes of graphite and licorice. The body is medium, fresh, with a smooth texture, delicate tannins, and a long finish.

Grape varieties:

Cabernet Sauvignon (71%), Merlot (24%) and Petit Verdot (5%)
