[Chateau Saint Christophe 2015]

Château Saint Christophe is located in the heart of Saint-Christophe-Médoc on the Médoc Peninsula. This small town is located 75 kilometers north of Bordeaux, adjacent to the Gironde estuary, where the climate is particularly pleasant. Since 1755, several generations of the same family have lived here. Patrick Gillet's ancestors chose the name Saint Christophe because until 1770, it was the original name of the town, which was later renamed Saint-Christoly du Médoc.

"Chateau Saint Christophe 2015 is ruby red, with a persistent reflection."The nose is fresh, with a hint of woodiness.Round mouthfeel, wonderful tannin structure, still needs a bit of time to integrate.Pairs well with grilled beef ribs, garlic and thyme lamb chops, duck breast with crispy vegetables.

60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot
