The name of Chateau Calon Segur comes from the old French word Calon, which was used in the Middle Ages to refer to a boat that transported timber from one side of the Garonne River to the other, and from the Marquis de Segur, who owned the castle in the early 18th century.From the 19th century until 2012, the Capbern-Gasqueton family managed the third growth estate in the Saint-Estèphe region.Château Calon Ségur continues to produce wines with a unique style, marked by the typicality of the region.

The wine has a beautiful ruby color, exuding aromas of black fruits, floral notes, spices, and violets.The taste is robust, with rich fruit flavors and light tannins.
