Sena, located in Chile's Aconcagua Valley region, is a top-tier winery created in collaboration between Eduardo Chadwick, the owner of the Chilean winery Vina Errazuriz, and Robert Mondavi, the father of American wine.Robert Mondavi first traveled to Chile in 1985 to look for a winery location, and he believed that Chile was a place with the potential to produce top-quality wines.After sharing their mutual passion for wine and winemaking philosophies, he and Eduardo Chadwick, the owner of Vina Errazuriz, founded Sena in 1995."Sena" means "signature" in Spanish, and this name represents the shared style and experience between the two families.On the label, you can see the signatures of the two winery owners; Sena can be considered the crystallization of their efforts to produce top-quality wine.
