Chateau Raymond-Lafon is located in the renowned sweet wine region of Sauternes, France, and in the early 1980s, its wine prices surpassed those of Climens and Rieussec.Sémillon accounts for 80% of the grape varieties planted at Château Raymond-Lafon, with the remaining portion being Sauvignon Blanc.The wines of Château Raymond-Lafon are aged in new oak barrels, which are manually separated, for three years, with racking every three months.The entire process produces approximately 20,000 bottles of wine each year.

"Chateau Raymond Lafon 2007 has an elegant aroma, with notes of citrus and dried honey. With further aeration, the potential minerality begins to emerge." The palate has a medium body, a viscous entry, good acidity, and a very tight finish.
