Chateau Rieussec was classified as a Premier Cru in the 1855 Sauternes and Barsac classification and became part of Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite in 1984, marking a significant period of development.In order to fully tap into the terroir potential of Chateau Rieussec, Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite built new cellars and winemaking facilities, added modern equipment to the grape sorting and pressing rooms, and further showcased the potential of Chateau Rieussec.
