Chateau Rieussec is located in the Sauternes region of Bordeaux and is renowned worldwide for producing sweet, luscious white wines. The vineyards of Chateau Rieussec are situated on the hills of the villages of Sauternes and Fargues, adjacent to Chateau d'Yquem.As one of the largest estates in Sauternes, Chateau Rieussec's vineyard covers an area of 93 hectares. Chateau Rieussec was classified as a Premier Cru in the 1855 Sauternes and Barsac classification and became part of Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite in 1984, marking a significant period of development.In order to fully tap into the terroir potential of Chateau Rieussec, Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite constructed new cellars and winemaking workshops, adding modern equipment to the grape sorting room and pressing room, thereby more fully showcasing the potential of Chateau Rieussec.
