In the Vergisson community, the vines occupy a clay-limestone hillside fully exposed to the southeast, ensuring a slow and healthy maturation of the Chardonnay. For Jean-Marie Guffens, this plot provides what he considers to be the most mineral wine produced by Verget in the Mâconnaise region. Since 2020, the distinctive characteristics of this terroir have led to its classification as a 1er Cru.
