"As a newcomer to Ducru-Beaucaillou, Le Petit Ducru wine was previously known as Lalande-Borie."The 2018 Le Petit Ducru is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in barrels for 12 months, with one-third of the barrels being new oak.Its alcohol content is 14.5%.The wine has a deep pomegranate red color, leaping out of the glass, exuding the wonderful pure aromas of blackcurrant and redcurrant, black raspberry and mulberry, as well as the scents of tobacco leaves, bay leaves, and fertile soil. The body is medium to full-bodied, with a rich and juicy black fruit flavor, soft tannins, perfect freshness, and a herbal finish.
