Adjacent to Chateau Haut Brion, Chateau Pape Clement is located in the outskirts of Bordeaux's Pessac Leognan and is one of the oldest prestigious estates in Bordeaux.The estate's name comes from Pope Clement V.Clement had great vision in winemaking, and the wines he guided in production had outstanding quality.These high-quality wines were exclusively for the Pope's use, hence they were called Papal wines.It is now owned by the Magrez family.Chateau Pape Clement primarily produces red wine, but it also produces white wine.
"Chateau Pape Clement Blanc 2016 exhibits flavors of fresh hay, dried persimmon, pineapple, and wild thyme, with a hint of oyster shell; it has a medium body, is crisp and clean, with a striking salinity, and a long finish with a mineral character."
