Penfolds Bin 389, affectionately known as 'Baby Grange' due to its maturation in the same barrels that previously held the iconic Grange, is an Australian legend. The 2021 vintage is a spectacular success, flawlessly marrying the structural backbone of Cabernet Sauvignon with the rich, opulent fruit of Shiraz. It pours a dense, opaque purple and explodes with intense aromatics of blackberry jam, dark chocolate, black licorice, and signature American oak notes of coconut and vanilla. Full-bodied, lush, and immensely powerful, the palate is supported by ripe, fine-grained tannins.
