The 2013 Les Ormes de Pez has a respectable bouquet, with aromas of raspberry and wild strawberry, a hint of cedar pervading, creating a character almost reminiscent of Pauillac. The entry is a bit delicate, but the mid-palate has considerable weight, with more red fruit than black fruit, gently building a single note of pepper that quickly fades.
