Opus One Overture 2022 is a full-bodied multi-vintage blend wine, produced at the iconic Opus One estate in Napa Valley. In keeping with the tradition of many famous Bordeaux estates, Overture is the estate's second wine. Using the exact same method as Opus One, with grapes from the same estate vineyards, the only difference is that Overture is a multi-vintage blend.It gives this wine an impressive structural depth and a beautiful, fresh blackcurrant aroma. Compared to Opus One, it leans more towards the red fruit spectrum, including raspberry and cherry flavors, and is already very open and enjoyable. The body is medium, (like Opus One) with a restrained Napa Valley style, and the primary fruit flavors are astonishingly clear. The delicate peppery spices from high-quality oak add complexity.
