Bodega Catena Zapata, located in the Mendoza region of Argentina, is the only South American winery featured in Robert Parker's "World's Greatest Wine Estates" (Wald's Greatest Wine Estates). Its former owner, Nicolás Catena Zapata, was named Decanter magazine's Man of the Year in 2009.

The 2016 vintage is a classic example, a perfect blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with 31% Malbec and 8% Petit Verdot, still in its infancy.The gentle aromas of blackcurrant and black cherry, along with subtle herbal and tobacco notes.The lovely smooth entry is built on a foundation of concentration and complexity.
