[Minuty M Rosé 2022]
Château Minuty was built during the reign of Napoleon III and was purchased by Gabriel Farnet in 1936, who dedicated himself to restoring its former glory. In 1955, the estate joined the small circle of 23 classified growths in the Côtes de Provence region. Subsequently, Monique Matton and Etienne Matton acquired the estate, and through their dedication, they made significant contributions to the reputation of Château Minuty in the fashion world of the Côte d'Azur. Today, the two brothers Jean-Etienne Matton and François Matton have taken over the estate, blending tradition with a modern spirit.
The 160-hectare vineyard of Château Minuty is located on the Saint-Tropez peninsula in Provence. The vineyard is located on the hillsides of Gassin and La Môle, benefiting from the Mediterranean climate. Due to its southwest orientation, the sea breeze from the coast can keep the grapes healthy throughout the year. The soil between schist and limestone is diverse, allowing different grape varieties to be cultivated in the most flourishing areas. This Provence Hill wine comes from vines grown using sustainable viticulture methods and is cared for in a protected environment rich in ecosystems. To ensure optimal and stable quality, we have made extensive selections from Grenache vines with an average age of 30 years.
