[Chateau Maucaillou 2013]
The Chateau Maucaillou vineyard is the oldest vineyard in Medoc, with traces found in the land deeds dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries. The terroir of the 63-hectare vineyard at Chateau Maucaillou is composed of excellent Quaternary alluvial deposits, a large part of which comes from the Guntz Garonne gravel layer found in the great classified growths of Medoc. This gravel contains large, shiny stones that reflect the summer sunlight onto the grapes, thereby enhancing their ripeness, which is essential for producing high-quality wine.
The 2013 Maucaillou wine has a deep color and an incredibly appealing aroma: flavors of blackberry and red currant, with a mineral note. The palate has a medium body, with mature tannins. It is a wine with excellent value for money.
Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
