Siepi is the legendary flagship Super Tuscan of the historic Mazzei family, crafted from a perfect 50/50 blend of Sangiovese and Merlot. The 2018 vintage is a monumental masterpiece, perfectly reflecting the gloriously warm and ripe year. It pours an opaque ruby-purple and explodes with a profoundly intellectual bouquet of dark chocolate, black cherry preserve, crushed violets, roasted cocoa beans, and elegant earthy minerality. Unbelievably full-bodied and built like a skyscraper, the palate is dense and wrapped in ultra-fine, silk-like tannins, leading to an epic, minutes-long finish.
