Château d'Ampuis is a legendary, ultra-premium Côte-Rôtie crafted by the undisputed kings of the Rhône, E. Guigal. The 2018 vintage is a powerhouse, perfectly reflecting the gloriously warm and ripe year. Blending Syrah with a touch of Viognier, it pours an opaque black-purple and explodes with a profoundly wild bouquet of blackberry jam, cracked black pepper, smoked bacon, black truffles, perfumed violets, and rich toasted oak.
