Castellare di Castellina is a Tuscan winery located near the town of Castellina, at the heart of the classic Chianti Classico region. Its flagship wine is I Sodi di San Niccolò, a Tuscan IGT wine primarily made from Sangiovese and a small amount of Malvasia Nera, embodying the spirit of the region's renowned Super Tuscan wines. The wine has been selected twice for the annual Wine Spectator Top 100 and frequently receives the prestigious Tre Bicchieri award from the Gambero Rosso guide.

"I Sodi di San Niccolò 2018 is the most elegant one I've ever tasted."In its youth, it can be quite robust, as the tannins are usually quite strong, but the 2018 is impressive because there is enough fruit to balance everything out. Black cherry, plum, lavender, spice, and gravel make up the Sodi, giving it astonishing purity and extraordinary finesse.
