Mortlach 12 Years Old, affectionately known as "The Wee Witchie," is a legendary Single Malt from Speyside. Renowned as the "Beast of Dufftown," it utilizes a highly complex, unique 2.81 distillation process to create a remarkably robust, meaty, and sulphury character unmatched in the region. Matured in both European and American oak, it explodes with intense aromatics of sherry dried fruits, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, toffee, and savory autumnal spices. Unbelievably full-bodied and oily, the palate balances sweet vanilla with a powerful, spicy kick, leading to a lingering, explosive finish.
