Château Marquis d'Alesme Becker is a highly regarded 3rd Growth in Margaux known for its exotic, spicy, and terroir-driven style. The 2012 vintage, which favored a softer, more approachable profile, produced a wonderfully charming expression of the estate. Now beautifully mature, it reveals an engaging bouquet of ripe cassis, crushed violets, sweet cigar box, and the estate's signature oriental spices. Medium to full-bodied and exceptionally smooth on the palate, the tannins have resolved into a velvety texture, supporting a core of sweet, accessible dark fruit and vibrant acidity.
