Château Montlandrie is a spectacular, value-driven estate in Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, meticulously managed by the late, great Denis Durantou of L'Eglise Clinet. The 2014 vintage is a textbook classic Bordeaux. Benefiting from a spectacular Indian summer, this wine offers excellent tension, energy, and structural precision. It reveals a highly focused bouquet of pure blackberry, red plum, fine cedarwood, elegant spices, and signature earthy minerality. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is taut and well-structured, with a bright line of acidity cutting through the firm, fine-grained tannins.
