Château Malescot Saint-Exupery is located in the Margaux region on the left bank of Bordeaux. It was purchased in 1827 by Count Jean-Baptiste St-Expéry. The count named the estate in honor of his great-grandfather, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the aviator and writer. Château Malescot Saint-Exupery is renowned for its raspberry and violet aromas, smooth texture, rich and balanced body, refined elegance, round and concentrated tannins, excellent expression, and flavors of spices and blackcurrants accompanied by balanced and pleasant acidity.
"Chateau Malescot Saint Exupery 2005 has a rich ruby/purple color, with a backdrop of graphite and oak, complemented by young blackcurrant and blackberry flavors, as well as floral notes. The body is medium to full, with a rich texture, leaving a lasting impression."
