Chateau Montrose was classified as a Second Growth in 1855. "It emits aromas of white chocolate, blackcurrant, acacia flowers, crushed stones, and wet earth."The tannins are surprisingly soft, although this dense, full-bodied red wine is still somewhat one-dimensional, it is full of concentration, power, and a long finish.
