Chateau Montrose was classified as a second growth estate in 1855. Due to the confidence of the estate's operators over the years, Montrose has only improved since 1855.The performance of each vintage is astonishingly high, not only far surpassing other second-growth estates, but in several years even exceeding the five first-growth estates, becoming a high-quality wine that collectors in the international market eagerly seek to add to their collections!

"Chateau Montrose 2011 presents a deep ruby/purple color. The slightly austere and angular 2011 Montrose has a more masculine style, with firm tannins, a medium body, and aromas of blackcurrant, blackcurrant, and earth." This wine slightly fades on the palate, leaving a tart, intense character. It will benefit from more years of cellaring and should continue for 15 years or more thereafter.

65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc.
