[Chateau Monbousquet 2018]
The history of Chateau Monbousquet can be traced back to 1540. In modern times, the estate was purchased in 1993 by Gerard Perse, who owns several renowned estates such as Chateau Pavie and Chateau Pavie-Decesse.Out of his love for red wine, Gerard Perse bought many famous Bordeaux estates in one go, even spending heavily to reform the estates. He even invited winemaking master Michel Rolland to the estate as a winemaking consultant, significantly improving the quality and winemaking techniques of Chateau Monbousquet, allowing it to be classified as one of the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classee in 2006.
Glass stained, glass appears black. Sweet, jammy black fruit, jam, and roasted meat flavors. The mouthfeel follows closely, with an intoxicating fruitiness, warm alcohol notes, and tight, relentless tannins enveloping the palate. This is very modern, with flavors of tar and licorice, as well as plum and cherry liqueur. Powerful and concentrated.
Grape varieties:
60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
