Château Lespault-Martillac is an excellent Pessac-Léognan estate meticulously managed by the famed Domaine de Chevalier team. The 2017 vintage is a beautifully fresh, highly perfumed, and elegant expression. Escaping heavy extraction, it highlights the aromatic purity and signature earthy finesse of the region. It boasts a highly perfumed bouquet of fresh black cherries, red plums, crushed violets, elegant cedar, and striking smoky minerality. Medium-bodied, the palate is exceptionally energetic and soft, supported by finely-grained, silky tannins and a bright core of pure fruit.
