[Le Dragon de Quintus 2018]

Le Dragon de Quintus is the second wine of the classified growth Château Quintus in Saint-Émilion on the right bank. In 2011, it was acquired by the Domaine Clarence Dillon group, which owns the prestigious estates Haut-Brion and La Mission, making it the fifth Bordeaux estate owned by the group.Chateau Quintus is also one of the oldest vineyards in Saint-Emilion. From 1868 to 1949, Chateau Quintus was consistently listed as a "Premier Grand Cru Classé" in the Bordeaux wine trade directory, but it was unfortunately downgraded in the 2006 classification.The owner of Domaine Clarence Dillon, Prince Robert of Luxembourg, once stated: "We hope to restore the former glory of this great estate."

"Le Dragon de Quintus 2018 presents a beautiful red color with bright crimson highlights."The first impression it gives is fresh and pleasant, with aromas of red fruits and subtle hints of vanilla and oak.Fresh, with rich fruit flavors, and an excellent mouthfeel.The tannins are smooth and mature, the balance is well-structured, and the finish is long-lasting.

Merlot 75.2%, Cabernet Franc 24.8%
