Le Dragon de Quintus is the excellent second wine of Château Quintus, meticulously managed by the Haut-Brion team. The 2018 vintage is a powerhouse wine, perfectly reflecting the gloriously warm and ripe year. It embraces a muscular, robust, and deeply concentrated modern Saint-Émilion profile. It pours an opaque ruby-purple and explodes with intense aromatics of black cherry preserve, dark plum, roasted cocoa, fine cigar box, and deep earthy minerality. Full-bodied and dense, the palate is structured around a massive core of velvety, ripe tannins and sweet dark fruit, leading to a long, lush finish.
