The history of Tenuta Luce began in the early 20th century when Vittorio Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi chose the renowned wine-growing region of Montalcino and decided to combine their experiences to embark on a visionary project: to create a wine that transcends borders, while respecting tradition.From the very beginning, they received support from their respective sons, Lamberto and Tim, both of whom were young winemakers.The experience gained from planting Merlot vineyards on these plots since the 1970s, along with the understanding of their unique expressiveness, has proven to be indispensable. Luce, the starting point of it all, is considered the harmonious intersection between the elegance and structure of the local indigenous variety Sangiovese and the roundness of Merlot.

The wine has a rich and deep color, accompanied by the aroma of fresh fruits. It has a smooth texture, with elegant and pleasant tannins that do not overwhelm the palate. This is a sincere and juicy wine that achieves a delightful balance between freshness, fruitiness, and richness, with an extremely elegant finish.
