Lacoste Borie is the excellent second wine of Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste. The 2018 vintage is a powerhouse wine, perfectly reflecting the gloriously warm and ripe year. It embraces a muscular, robust, and deeply concentrated modern Pauillac profile. It pours an opaque ruby-purple and explodes with intense aromatics of black cherry preserve, dark plum, roasted cocoa, cigar box, and classic graphite minerality. Full-bodied and dense, the palate is structured around a massive core of velvety, ripe tannins and sweet dark fruit, leading to a long, lush, and powerful finish.
