【Chateau Latour Martillac 2017】
Chateau Latour Martillac is located in the Graves region of Bordeaux, France. It is one of only six Grand Cru Classé de Graves estates that produce both red and white wines. The name is derived from an ancient tower in the estate's courtyard. The vineyard is divided into two parts based on soil type: the highland area is rich in pebbles, with poor soil and excellent drainage, while the plots near the Garonne River consist mainly of clay and limestone, covered with gravel, which is highly beneficial for grape cultivation.
"The 2017 Latour Martillac is deep garnet-purple in color and has a nose of warm blackberries, black plum preserves and stewed tea with hints of dusty soil, sauteed herbs and tobacco. The medium-bodied palate is soft and lively with an earthy finish." — Robert Parker
