Château Langoa Barton is an excellent 3rd Growth in Saint-Julien. The 2015 vintage is a powerhouse, perfectly reflecting the gloriously warm and ripe year. It pours an opaque ruby-purple and explodes with intense aromatics of black cherry preserve, dark plum, violets, fine cigar box, and striking graphite minerality. Full-bodied and densely packed, the palate is structured around a massive core of velvety tannins, leading to a long, lush, and highly pure finish.
