Chateau La Tour Figeac has a pure, clean, and authentic aroma, with notes of blackcurrant tablets, raspberry jam, and autumn leaves.The palate is medium, with soft tannins and slightly lower acidity.It offers a good substance, although I found it somewhat harsh in the finish, lacking the vitality of its peers.I hope it will improve in the bottle.Unlike its more famous neighbors from the Saint-Émilion region, the understated Chateau la Tour Figeac follows the most delicate Bordeaux traditions and consistently adheres to handcrafting and organic principles, maintaining high standards for the quality of harvesting, processing, and winemaking.

"The 2018 La Tour Figeac is a deep garnet/purple color, initially a bit shy, with vibrant aromas of crushed black and red cherries, warm pears, and wild blueberries, accompanied by hints of violet, licorice, wood smoke, and brush; it has a full body, packed with plenty of understated blue and black fruit flavors, rounded tannins, just the right amount of freshness, and a lingering finish of red fruit."
