Château L'Évangile is a legendary Pomerol estate owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite). The 2007 vintage is a beautifully elegant, fresh, and highly approachable expression. Escaping heavy extraction, it highlights the floral refinement and aromatic purity of the vintage. It boasts a highly perfumed bouquet of pure red plum, black cherry, crushed violets, elegant cocoa beans, black truffles, and subtle vanilla oak. Medium-bodied, the palate is exceptionally energetic and soft, supported by finely-grained, velvety tannins and a bright core of fruit.
