Chateau Latour is one of the most expensive wineries in the world, rated as a first-growth estate in the 1855 Bordeaux classification.

Chateau Latour was already renowned in the 18th century, making it a well-deserved national treasure of France.At that time, French nobility and former U.S. President Thomas Jefferson both held it in high regard.

Chateau Latour is made from vines with an average age of 50 years (some nearly a century old), and the vineyard covers an area of 48 hectares, known as L'Enclos.The grapevines are replaced individually, rather than by sections, a system known as "replanting."

Latour's unique terroir is composed of large Günzian gravel stones and small pieces of clay.For over three centuries, Château Latour has been an outstanding wine.It is masculine, complex, concentrated, and very long.Without a doubt, Latour is the epitome of fine Médoc wines.

This medium-bodied wine is beautiful and lively, concentrated and balanced, with flavors of black cherry complemented by spicy and woody notes.
